Becoming a parent is truly one of the most exciting, rewarding and often exhausting times of your life, be it first, second, third… time around.
However, along with the joys of being a parent we found that as we added to the family, and our kids grew, we accumulated so much family ‘stuff’; some of which had hardly been used. This was then continually being replaced by new ‘stuff’ which was more appropriate to their next age groups, size and activities.
‘My Mummy and Me’ stemmed from a constant need we had to off-load, sell and giveaway the baby equipment, and general kids stuff, we no longer needed. This meant that some of these good quality items (which had been researched to death and expensive new) would be reused rather than being discarded – so, not just left to gather dust under the stairs; packed in the loft; or boxed in the garage!
As all parents and carers know looking after little ones takes a lot of time, therefore we aimed to provide an easy to use website where you can freely buy and sell baby and children’s equipment, toys, clothes, transport, books, etc – in easily identifiable and searchable categories; and within recognised retail age groups.
Placing an advert(s) takes just a couple of minutes; and 3 simple steps. By selling the ‘stuff’ you no longer need you can make some extra cash; save someone near you pounds; and at the same time do your bit towards saving the planet by promoting the reuse of goods – reducing the amount of waste from both the item itself and endless layers of packaging on something new.
